Sledges in summerski centre

Sitting on a sledge you are pulled up by a skilift at Folgefonn Summerski Centre. The ski lift is actually installed on the glacier! At the top of the ski lift we slide down to about 100 metres in Folgefonna National Park. Here you will have a fantastic view to the Hardanger Fjord, the plateau of the southern part of Folgefonna and in the west you can glimpse the North Sea. You will be guided on a short walk into Folgefonna National Park. After the walk you can look forward to a pleasant journey down the skiing slopes with your sledge

Duration: 1-2 hrs
Season: May 15th-August 20th (depending on the snow conditions)
Equipment: Warm clothing, sunglasses, sun screen, and hiking boots (the latter can be hired)
