Jondal

Jondal is a National Park Village, with main attraction Folgefonna glacier. Here a summerski centre is located, only 19 kms from the port. The ski centre is open May-September, and many national teams from all over the world have training sessions during this period. Both cross country, alpine and snowboard possibilities. Also sledges have been introduced in 2008.
From Jondal to Utne the official Norwegian Scenic Road was opened 2007. It passes through the village Herand where you will find a National Park Information Centre.
